CURRICULUM

We are proud to offer a broad curriculum along with a wide range of opportunities to prepare pupils for the next stage of their personal journey. In Years 12 and 13 (ages 16-18), students typically study 3 or 4 subjects depending on their GCSE results and/or ability.

We prioritise developing a personal understanding of each individual student, so that we can best support them in every aspect of Sixth Form life and maximise academic success.

As well as their chosen A-Level subjects, students also study the Extended Project Qualification. The EPQ is an open-ended project which is equivalent to an AS-Level and is an excellent opportunity for students to learn new study and research skills as well as investigate a topic which fascinates them.

This offering is accented by an extensive list of enrichment and co-curricular offerings to expand your horizons both in our North London community and beyond.

UNIQUE ASPECTS OF OUR CURRICULUM:
  • Be Active – Enrichment and Volunteering

  • The AiQ (Alleyn’s Intelligence Quotient)

  • Extended Project Qualification

  • 1:1 Mentoring and Professional Skills Development

  • Robust Co-Curricular Programming

  • Level 3 Qualification in Sports Leadership

  • Learning Experiences with Community Partners

Our Sixth Form is an all-in student experience that emphasises far more than academics. We develop the whole person to cultivate responsible global citizens, ready to make an impact on our community and beyond.

CO-CURRICULARS AND ENRICHMENT

Our timetabled character development programme, known as Be Active for Sixth Form, helps students build resilience, problem-solving abilities, communication, and teamwork skills. We dedicate one double lesson per week to our Be Active programme and each term, pupils choose from an exhaustive list of volunteering opportunities and enrichment activities.

In addition to our Be Active programme, students have an extensive list of co-curricular activities to choose from. This includes our clubs and societies, Duke of Edinburgh Award, LAMDA and Music lessons, oracy-focused activities including Model United Nations, off-site sports afternoons on Fridays, and community partnerships to provide meaningful projects and gap year opportunities.

OUR SPACES

2025: Alongside our existing specialist facilities, Year 12 students will have access to bespoke seminar rooms and a common room.

Students will also benefit from subject-specific, immersive experiences beyond the classroom including trips, events and exhibitions, university visits and more.
