Our Spaces

A royal location, steeped in history.

Among the hustle and bustle, London has a number of iconic green spaces and beautiful Royal Parks, and with Regent’s Park on our doorstep, North Bridge House Prep School could not be more ideally situated for play and sport. Regent's Park is our playground, home ground for sports fixtures, and quality facility for various games, clubs and annual events.

NBH Prep School pupils also have a collaboration with the neighbouring ZSL London Zoo; regular trips see them go behind the scenes, talk to experts in the world of zoology and conservation, and observe the classroom-taught principles of evolution in action.

With its ornate chapel ceiling and stained-glass windows, the Prep School building itself hosts many impressive architectural features, all of which hint at its former life as a convent.

The school is now equipped with many modern teaching facilities, and its character creates an inspiring learning environment in which pupils benefit from the latest technology, advanced learning resources, and specialist spaces.

Spaces

Facilitating academic rigour and creative flow.

Regent’s Park Prep School has been innovatively designed to preserve the building’s rich history while creating an environment in which the arts and academia thrive.

Our youngest pupils in the Early Years and Key Stage 1 benefit from their very own, brand-new space. The Nest, which opens out onto a rooftop garden, provides a safe and secure environment for children to transition into school life, while classrooms remain bright and contemporary throughout the main building.

In addition to our integrated use of technology, pupils benefit from their own 1-2-1 school devices (in Year 3 and above) and specialist teaching facilities for Art, Drama, Music and Science.

Our art studio can be found at the top of the school building among the roof beams, flooded with natural light. Our two large music rooms are complemented by soundproof music pods for one-to-one tuition, practice and recording. And while school productions take place in the chapel, the stage lit drama studio is an inspiring space for everyday lessons and rehearsals.

Spaces at-a-glance:
This school offers a great balance between a nurturing environment and academic challenge and opportunities for children's development in several areas. The proximity to the park and lots of outdoor activities is a plus.
