WELCOME TO REGENT'S PARK PREPARATORY SCHOOL
Find us at the edge of Regent’s Park – our very own London playground – and discover academic challenge in a supportive school community. Here at NBH Regent’s Park Prep School, children aged 4-13 are immersed in a knowledge-rich and purposeful curriculum, leading to top tier academic outcomes. With a whole host of character-building experiences beyond the classroom, and compassionate staff who guide each and every child on their individual path to success, we provide personalised preparation for an all-through education at North Bridge House Senior Schools, or entry to other UK leading destinations.
BESPOKE PREPARATION FOR FUTURE PATHWAYS
From a nurturing start to school life in The Nest, through an increasingly rigorous, specialist taught curriculum (incorporating everything from Mandarin to Politics, Philosophy and Economics), we thoroughly prepare pupils for the senior school best suited to their individual strengths and interests – expertly facilitating all 11+, 13+, or through school journeys.
MORE THAN JUST AN EDUCATION
With enriching co-curricular initiatives such as the ACE Programme and the Orchestra Project, close to 40 extra-curricular clubs, and an ISI (Independent Schools Inspectorate) commended programme of trips, we offer pupils a wholly inspiring experience, with constant opportunities to excel and find their own ‘True North’.
WE WOULD LOVE TO SHOW YOU AROUND
Join us at an Open Day to see the school in action, hear from the Head, and meet our brilliant staff and pupils. Private tours are available if you cannot make the next Open Day, or if you are looking for a mid-year or immediate vacancy. We are here to personalise your tour experience.

Whilst on our Dubai Sports Tour, we swapped the pitches and courts for sand dunes on an unforgettable desert safari. Think high-speed dune bashing, sand-boarding wipeouts, and camel rides with some very relaxed new friends. Some of our students even had a close encounter with a majestic eagle, under the watchful eye of its keeper, of course!
As the sun set, our Canonbury and Senior Hampstead students kicked back with a BBQ feast, rounding off the night with a belly dancing show. From start to finish, it was an experience to remember - Dubai, you did not disappoint! 🇦🇪🐫🏜️

Our Year 7 students have now fully settled into life at Canonbury, making it the perfect time to hear their thoughts on navigating new subjects, routines, and opportunities with confidence. We asked them about the highlights of their journey so far - what they’ve been enjoying the most, which subjects have sparked their interest, and how Canonbury compares to their previous schools.
Hear their thoughts in their own words!

Our Year 6, 7, and 8 Regent’s Park pupils have just spent an unforgettable week in Iceland!
Here is what they got up to the first 2 days of their trip, their journey began with a tour of Reykjavík, where they took in the city’s sights and visited the Perlan Observatory Deck for the most amazing panoramic views. Despite the cold and wet weather, everyone’s spirits remained high, and they completely embraced the adventure.
Day 2 saw them exploring the Golden Circle, starting with Þingvellir National Park. They hiked through the fissure zone between the Eurasian and North American plates and visited the site of Iceland’s first parliament, the world’s oldest! Then a visit to a local farm followed, where pupils enjoyed hot chocolate and ice cream while watching the cows through the windows. The friendly farm dogs were also an added bonus!
Next came the famous Geysir, where they patiently waited for the hot spring to erupt, managing a perfect group photo in the process! The adventure continued at Gullfoss, the “Golden Waterfall” of Iceland, before finishing with a scenic hike around Kerið Crater, a volcanic site that last erupted 6,000 years ago.
The day ended in the most spectacular way imaginable, as our pupils were fortunate enough to witness the Northern Lights dancing across the sky! As you can imagine this was a truly unforgettable experience and was the perfect way to end the first half of their Icelandic adventure. 🌌✨

What an incredible week of back-to-back performances by our super talented students at Senior Hampstead! Students across all year groups took to the stage for our spectacular production of Oliver, bringing Victorian London to life after months of hard work and dedication.
Months of rehearsals, creativity, and collaboration led to a show filled with powerful solo performances, stunning ensemble numbers, and incredible stage presence. Every scene showcased the passion, perseverance, and talent of our students, making this an unforgettable experience for all involved.
A huge thank you to our dedicated Drama department for their unwavering commitment, our fantastic students for their continuous energy and enthusiasm, and our staff, families, and everyone who made this production possible. The show was incredible, and we’ve loved bringing our community together to celebrate the magic of theatre! 👏🎶

Last Thursday, our Year 7 Canonbury students took full advantage of being located so close to London’s incredible cultural landmarks with a visit to The National Gallery! This trip helped deepen their understanding of one and two point perspective, as they explored masterpieces and analysed how artists create depth and dimension.
With an afternoon of sketching, observation, and analysis, they returned to school inspired and ready to apply these techniques to their current project - combining precision with creative expression!
We’re lucky to have world-class museums right on our doorstep, making hands-on learning a regular part of school life!

We have been celebrating Children’s Mental Health Week across our schools, with the theme ‘Know Yourself, Grow Yourself’, encouraging our pupils to explore their emotions, strengths, and personal growth.
Recently, we were joined by Jessicca and Ayesha from @_place2be, who spoke to our Year 3 and 4 Regent’s Park Prep pupils about the importance of recognising and understanding emotions, as well as the incredible work Place2Be does to support children’s mental health. Our pupils also took part in form time discussions and Wellbeing Wednesday activities focused on self-awareness and personal growth. We then wrapped up with our Express You! non-uniform day on Friday. where pupils wore outfits that reflected who they are and how they feel, while raising an incredible £750 for Place2Be!
A huge thank you to everyone who took part and made this week so special! 🧠💛

Manga Club stepped out of their usual setting today and into the kitchen for a hands-on, cross-curricular experience that blended creativity with culinary skills! Our Year 7, 8, and 9 Senior Hampstead students swapped their books for aprons as they explored the art of Japanese cooking, making traditional soba noodle soup. But before stepping into the kitchen, they took part in the full process, starting with a visit to Natural Natural Japanese grocery store, where they carefully selected authentic ingredients. The morning continued with a stop at Lanka Patisserie, where students attended a workshop with their chef, learning first-hand about Japanese flavour and techniques.
This unique experience not only deepened their love for Japan but also developed key life skills such as cooking and teamwork. By bridging Manga Club with Food Technology, students had the chance to engage in a truly cross-curricular opportunity, linking their love of manga and anime with practical, hands-on learning. Cooking a dish they’ve often seen in the pages of their favourite books and on-screen series made Japanese culture feel even more tangible, reinforcing the importance of intercultural understanding. Our Manga Club students discovered that their passion for Japan extends far beyond the pages they read - one delicious bowl at a time!

On Tuesday, our Regent’s Park Digital Ambassadors, Blaine & Jake, took part in the world’s first-ever Children’s AI Summit at @officialqmul, hosted by the Children & AI team. Ensuring young voices are part of the conversation on one of the most powerful technologies shaping our future.
AI is already transforming education, healthcare, the environment, and mental health, and it’s here to stay. That’s why, as the generation who will grow up alongside AI, it’s vital for our pupils to stay informed, understand its impact, learn how to use it responsibly, and have a say in shaping its future. Using postcards, Blaine & Jake voiced their concerns, and presented their opinions on how AI should be used. These insights, along with those of other pupils, will now be presented to global leaders, policymakers, and AI developers at the AI Action Summit in Paris next week, helping to shape how AI is used for generations to come.
Well done, Blaine & Jake, for representing our school on such an important global situation!
