Our staff are highly experienced and passionate about delivering a broad and enriching, specialist-taught curriculum, which excites children about the wonder of knowledge.
Above all though, the teachers at North Bridge House Nursery & Pre-Prep School genuinely care. With kindness at our core, we are a team that is committed to guiding both pupils and parents through school life; we understand that every child is different and that is central to the way we teach and to our open dialogue with parents.

HOW WE TEACH
To Inspire Curiosity.
With active learning at the forefront, our curriculum is hands-on and exciting for every child, enabling them to learn through their own investigations and discoveries, and thus promoting a deep curiosity for knowledge.
Though we embrace technology where appropriate, our curriculum incorporates plenty of educational play and exploration, drawing on children's natural curiosity and giving them the opportunity to ‘have a go’ and figure things out for themselves. This leads to enhanced confidence, critical thinking, and problem solving skills.
As a Community.
We take great pride in our family feel, with parents likening our school to a home away from home for their children, and staff who attended the school themselves are now in fact senior leaders here.

With Compassion.
Our staff combine a wealth of expertise in early childhood development with enormous warmth and kindness, creating meaningful relationships which instil a love for learning and support the growth of confidence and resilience in every child.
Their commitment to creating an environment in which all children can thrive socially as well as academically results in rapid progress made by genuinely happy children — children who are excited to learn and, even in the early years of education, enjoy finding their True North.
In Celebration of the Individual.
Small class sizes and high staff to pupil ratios allow teachers to take an individualised approach to each child’s development, continuously tracking their progress through informal observation and assessment.
Every child benefits from one-to-one support and through careful planning, monitoring and evaluating, staff ensure pupils are stretched or supported to achieve their full potential.
