North Bridge House Nursery and Pre-Prep Schools are high-achieving.
Overall standards of reading, writing and Maths are all well above the national average at both Early Years Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1. Children naturally progress from Nursery to Pre-Prep at the end of Pre-Reception (age 4), where they continue with the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum, before moving on, in Years 1 and 2, to Key Stage 1. By the end of our pupils' time with us, they are well prepared for our highly successful Prep school.
To track pupil progress in a stress-free environment, we use the progress test series provided by GL Assessment, the leading provider of formative assessments to schools in the UK. The progress tests determine an age-standardised score (SAS) for pupils, taking into account each pupil’s age in years and months, and indicate how they are performing relative to the national average.
Progressive and successful.
From Reception to Year 2, children's progress and attainment are assessed and measured in detail, using the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework and National Curriculum Levels in core subjects.
