North Bridge House has been shaping outstanding education in North London for over 80 years.
In September 2025, our Regentβs Park campus became Alleynβs Regentβs Park, joining the Alleynβs Schools Group and offering an exceptional education for ages 4β11 β a partnership founded on shared values of academic ambition, opportunity and care. Our Hampstead campuses will follow in September 2026, transitioning to become Alleynβs Hampstead, an all-through school for ages 2β18.
Today, North Bridge House Canonbury stands as a thriving Senior and Sixth Form for students aged 11 to 18 in the heart of Islington β delivering academic excellence, a close-knit community and the confidence for every student to discover their own path to success.

A group of our Year 9 & 10 students took a trip to the Royal Institutionβs Urenco Young Scientist Centre to study colour chemistry βοΈ
Our students started the day by making their own organic and inorganic dyes to observe how they interacted with various materials. In the second session, they were tasked with analysing various liquid samples to determine an unknown concentration. Not to mentionβ¦ there may have been a demonstration with fire! ππ₯

π Young Entrepreneurs in Action π
Our Year 9 students showcased impressive entrepreneurial skills by launching their own jewelry business over Easter.
Gaia, Ashton, Rinzin, and Eliza sold bracelets in Highbury Fields, earning Β£268.73 which they generously donated to Friends of the @rosebowl_hub.

Our Year 9 to 11 Spanish students embarked on an unforgettable journey to Barcelona, Spain last term.
The highlight was reuniting with pen pals from @britishschoolbarcelona, after exchanging letters for two terms - it was fantastic to catch up in person π
Students immersed themselves in the language while visiting iconic landmarks like Park GΓΌell, Barcelonaβs Old Town, Arc de Triomf, Sagrada FamΓlia, Tibidabo Amusement Park, Museu Nacional Dβart de Catalunya, and Poble Espanyol. What an adventure!

Our students took on Val di Fiemme like pros, tackling chilly mornings and windy days with big smiles β·οΈ
We loved watching them improve and have fun, whether they were seasoned skiers or just starting out.
And when the slopes closed, we had some special treats - a magician, sledding, and a well-needed ice cream stop! π¨

Last week we welcomed Paul Hannaford BEM π₯ into school for a drug awareness workshop with our Year 9β12 pupils.
Paul shared his personal journey β from a sporty teenager to the wrong crowd, and the life-changing consequences that followed. He spoke with unflinching honesty about gangs, weapons and addiction, and what it means to take responsibility for your own path.
The pupils were extraordinary. They listened. They engaged. They reflected.

A group of talented sports scholars attended the Careers in Sport Live event at the Gtech Community Stadium, where they discovered the possibilities of a career in sports. With topics ranging from sports media to coaching and sports science, it was a day filled with learning and growth. Our students left with a better understanding of the sports industry and the opportunities that lie ahead.
